Picking the Best Potential Fulham Lineup to Face Crystal Palace on Saturday's Premier League Return

Fulham return to the Premier League after a four year absence against the side whom they faced in their last top flight match, Crystal Palace

The Cottagers have been one of the busiest sides in Europe throughout this transfer window, spending over £70m on new recruits as they battle to avoid a speedy return to the Championship

The Eagles, on the other hand, have been less busy, instead focusing on acquiring a bit of depth to support their already impressive starting XI.

Let's take a look at the best potential lineup Slavisa Jokanovic could deploy against Roy Hodgson's men:

1. Goalkeeper & Defence

Fabri, a £5m signing from Besiktas, is expected to start in goal ahead of Marcus Bettinelli having played the last couple of pre-season games for the Cottagers.

In front of him, Jokanovic is likely to give a start to Cyrus Christie, the right-back so influential in their promotion campaign last season.

In the centre of defence, Tim Ream is set to be handed his Premier League debut after excelling for the club over the course of last season. With another new recruit, Alfie Mawson, still nursing a knee injury, Arsenal loanee Calum Chambers should receive his first start for his new club.

Ryan Sessegnon was expected to start at left-back given the fact that the role was one of the club's weakest, although the imminent arrival of Joe Bryan from Bristol City should cover that role against the Eagles.

2. Midfielders

New boy Jean Michael Seri is expected to be handed his Premier League debut after his £25m move from Nice. The energetic box to box midfielder has been of interest to many Premier League clubs over the last few seasons, so his first appearance will be watched keenly by many.

Alongside the Ivorian in midfield, club captain Tom Cairney is extremely likely to start against Palace; his goal against Aston Villa in the play-off final earned the club their place in the top flight this season.

On either side of them on the flanks, Fulham's boy wonder Ryan Sessegnon will make his highly anticipated Premier League debut at just 18 years of age.

Opposite him, summer signing Andre Schurrle, nine years older than Sessegnon, will make his first appearance in England since departing Chelsea.

3. Forwards

Having starred for Fulham at the back end of last season after arriving on loan from Newcastle, Aleksander Mitrovic will make his first start for the club in the Premier League after signing a permanent deal.

Alongside him up top, Aboubakar Kamara looks likely to start as a result of his impressive form in pre season for the Cottagers. The 23-year-old's pace and willingness to chase lost causes will certainly pose some problems for Palace.
