Real Madrid and Portugal star Cristiano is said to be seriously interested in the possibility of returning to Manchester United, per Sky Sports.

The Portuguese attacker, who led Madrid to the La Liga title and Champions League glory last season, shocked just about everyone after news emerged of his desire to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Several sources are claiming that the 32-year-old wants out of Madrid for various reasons, including their lack of support regarding his tax fraud matter and disunity in the dressing room.

Ronaldo is said to have informed former boss Sir Alex Ferguson of his intent to quit the Spanish club this summer, citing the grounds stated above.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Ronaldo has told his agent Jorge Mendes to do everything in his power to get him back at Old Trafford ahead of the upcoming season.

Several clubs have been alerted by the player's supposed availability, and are said to be preparing mega bids in an attempt to reel him in.

Premier League champions Chelsea are reportedly considering a swap deal involving Eden Hazard, while Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to spend any amount to seal a deal for the superstar.

Spanish outlet Marca also claim that Madrid have slapped a staggering £350m price-tag on the prolific front-man.

We're pretty certain that the figure falls under the category of 'any amount'. Yet spending it on a 32-year-old, no matter how talented, would be pretty outlandish.
