Former Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn is the new manager of Rotherham United, the South Yorkshire side have announced.
Redfearn, from Dewsbury, has agreed a three-year deal at the New York Stadium, following Steve Evans' exit almost a fortnight ago.
The 50-year-old will be presented to the media at a press conference on Monday.
A statement on the club website revealed: "Redfearn came out on top after a meticulous selection process where he impressed Chairman Tony Stewart and the Board of Directors with his vision for the future of the club."
Redfearn replaced Darko Milanic at Elland Road 11 months ago and won a third of his 33 games in charge before Uwe Rosler was appointed in his place.
The former Barnsley player's first game in charge is at Brentford a week on Saturday, before back-to-back home games against Reading and local rivals Sheffield Wednesday.
The Millers are currently 21st in the Championship, having picked up eight points from their 10 league matches so far.
